Conference Workflow (NEW)
Below, we provide some general information and guidelines on the conference workflow (to be regularly updated).
Real time pre-conference seminar and conference presentations will be organized via Adobe Connect.
- On September 18th (EET) we will send a link to test your system compatibility, internet connection and audio settings ahead (optionally). You may find the instructions on using Adobe Connect here.
- All registered participants will receive a conference link with instructions to their emails.
- For efficient conference flow, we ask all presenters to send their PPT slides and posters by September 16 to andrius.utka at vdu.lt. The title of your presentation should include the name of presenting person: Name_Surname. The title of your poster should include the name of presenting person, and the number in the programme (e.g. “6_Name_Surname.pdf”).
- Please check the conference programme to see whether your paper is assigned a presentation or poster format.
KEYNOTE SPEECHES
- The keynote speeches will be live or asynchronous, followed by 15 minutes of live discussions.
- Participants are invited to write their questions in the chat pod area, which will be read by chair during the discussion time.
PRESENTATION SESSIONS
- Presentations will be given synchronously. Please make sure that your internet connection is stable.
- Each presentation should be 15 minutes in length + 5 minutes for discussion.
- Session chair will send a message to private chat to give a 3 minutes warning.
- We welcome both slide and participant view. You will be able to navigate the slides on your own.
- Virtual listeners are asked to write their questions in the chat pod which will be read by the session chair. You may write a message to the presenter via private chat if the 5 minute discussion slot is not enough.
POSTER SESSIONS
- You can use a poster template of your choice. We recommend the horizontal pdf file format in order to use the computer screen space efficiently.
- At the same Adobe Connect room, there will be 2 virtual poster sessions of 60 minutes. Each poster presenter will be assigned a breakout room to discuss posters with visiting participants.
